As someone who grew up in Manitouwadge (currently living in BC), I love watching these videos and reminiscing about my childhood!

lol they make it look so attractive. Try wintering there with nothing to do except ice fish and snow moblie and ski. I know people that have moved there and with-in 3 years move back to the city...lol..32 miles off the trans Canada no jobs no health care no shopping two restaurants a grocery store a liquer store a very small kids clothing store a gas station and a bank...thats it. If your vehicle breaks down your screwed..one mechanic in town. It was different when Geco and camp 15 was there for the pulp mill in marathon but its all gone and hemlo is no more either...just left overs for barrick...lol
