Manitowoc Harbor and Ferryboat SS Badger

The Manitowoc Wisconsin Harbor and Ferryboat SS Badger offers families a great place to vacation. For boaters, the 5-star marina has nice launching and mooring facilities. The USS Cobia and Maritime Museum allow visitors to view the 1945, World War 2 submarine. The 312' long sub was active in the war and carried a crew of 80 members. And, the SS Badger Ferryboat, travels between Manitowoc and Ludington, Michigan. The 60 mile trip hauls cars and trucks to Ludington in about 4 hours and stands 7 stories tall. A truly beautiful lakefront.
