@technicalgamingandroid32083 жыл бұрын
@@हपिएम् oh really? New lhb coaches over last 3 yrs. All premium trains have got bullet train like interiors. I agree that sleeper coaches haven't developed much but certain changes have made. Icf blue coaches are completely taken off. Our railway line is the 4 th biggest in the world that's why we did not give much importance to modernizing the coaches but now we are constantly doing that. Our more than 65% routes are electrified which will save almost 25,000 crores of money is saved which would go for feul and diesel. Our railway stations mostly has solar panels which uses to renewable energy Andy saves more money . If u compare 10 yrs ago to now our tracks and platforms are pretty clean and modern. Big city stations have all sort of facilities like foreign . Our passenger trains are the cheapest yet best trains ever in this world. Now we have more than 20 premium trains with high facilities at lesscost. A middle class guy earning 40k can also travel in AC coaches at least twice in a month. And they are very much comfortable. We have bio toilets in almost all trains which decomposes waste and bacteria composts it . No tracks are getting that dirty Because of dusbins in trains. We provide way better service than most of the countries in the world. See Pakistan Bangla desh srilanka etc. Those countries railways are no where near to us. Leaving Japan china korea and some places of asia our trains look good and modern . USA is a developed country but their trains isn't that good at punctuality . Trains may even delay for days. Our coaches design us same for the years but there have been a lot of changes. Tejas express train 18 vistadome coaches. Chair cars have comfortable seating. We need to close the windows completely then . But indian railways has left this windows Because we could enjoy the journey. We can also make modern trains like bullet trains. Infact with help of japan we are making bullet trains. India has developed a lot in last 6 yrs.

Also Mumbai Pune Miraj Londa Bangalore is also a double electrified line however I believe some work is still going on between pune and Miraj. Doubling will save a lot of time in near future. Electrification will also reduce the time in loco changes.

It is so beautiful to go back to 1992 in a time machine which I have experienced in real life as well in the very same train. I used to have people going to Bangalore for which Dadar Chennai express was the connecting train to change at Guntakal. They used to take Secunderabad Bangalore MG express at Guntakal pulled by YDM4 and it was much slower than Dadar express. They used to curse IR for buying quota tickets from Guntakal to SBC at Bombay. Today with so much of connectivity Mumbai route remains very slow almost the same as 1992 and Chennai still has no fully AC trains to Mumbai. A big thank you.
@ManiVijay6 жыл бұрын
It's always great to hear from you because, like me, you have very fond memories of the 70s, 80s and even 90s, when traveling in IR was a totally different experience. All this new connectivity to Bangalore is a ticket for politically-initiated trains to flood the line. Sadly, Mumbai doesn't figure on that list.

Few comments 1) Coaches didn't have power points . Maniji had to have multiple charged batteries and plan the use 2) Video camera used tapes. Again needed to be judicious about the use. 3) he didn't have maps / trackers like today . TTs and pure love for IR, he knew the details of the line, crossing train names and other salient features . For example , who knew there is a small double line section near Kadapa and he made sure he captured it. 4) Even IR won't have such videos that documented locos, rakes, certain stations No wonder he is the first IR super fan! Those days for some reason just the Chennai Mumbai trains didn't have vestibule connection.

Yet another lovely memory of my train travels from Mumbai to Chennai in Dadar Exp. :D Its unbelievable that you have collections of videos all the way from 1992 sir! Your channel is such a valuable asset for many of us! 9:00 Mumbai Mail! One of the worst trains to travel from Chennai to Mumbai! Takes a super long route. Btw on 9:20 on the coach it says "Sleeper - 3 Tier". Was there such a class? I thought this was only applicable for AC 3 Tier and in general all sleeper coaches were 3 Tiers.
