Last bus to Tirunelveli was around 6 pm in Covid time... If govt guest house open for tourist, you can stay at any number of days.. depends on room availability....

Yes, it is safe but be cautious when travelling here as rarely elephant can also come across here ... apart from govt guest house you can't stay at any place here... so you have to catch last bus from manjolai or oothu. If you are travelling on your personal vehicle no issue at all, just road is little bit dangerous for riding,....

No stay available in manjolai and Oothu. Govt. has guest house in kutheraivetti near Oothu only but not sure they have opened for tourism as when we went their they have closed for tourist due to Corona.
