Ive seen the guy in the timberland sweater in a few videos. One in particular on Peter Hills’s channel where he was younger on The Needles lighthouse. I hope he’s still around.

Lindsey, please leave this vid on as long as possible!! I think it was made by ch4 the 40 minutes series, and was called "the keepers last watch and was a lot longer than 3 parts but its nice to see it again unless I'm missing the other programmes.😭

Anyone read "Stargazing" by Peter Hill? It's a first hand account of how a young man joined the lighthouse service in '73, and although he only spent a short time as a keeper, his beautifully written account is a real eye opener for someone like myself who grew up during the automation.
