The other day I saw a question: "¿Who is your favorite philosopher?" . I didn't answer it back then, but now I will. Manly is definitely one of my favorite philosophers. I actually might not have a list more than 3 or 5. But Manly P. Hall and Alan Watts are the result of ages of philosophy, they helped me in so many ways that, every time I listen to one of their lectures, I feel that they are speaking to me in real time, guiding me, helping me to get the answers I need. And I'm truly grateful for that, I'm grateful for this channel and for all of Manly P. Hall's legacy. This world is getting weird, but if we are determined to live with purpose we can manifest another and better Golden Age. May The All, The Eternal One bless you, and all humanity.

Purpose- is the greatest form of empowerment. All have innate purpose that makes itself known after simple common sense has through time matured into a deep & abiding wisdom. Personal life purpose is in all ways aligned with universal purpose, as is the function of every form alive or inanimate. The universe is alive with purposeful action, nothing moves without direction of purpose, as without direction of purpose, nothing could be as it presently is... so there would be no universe, and life as we know it would not exist. The universe would lose cohesive organization and chaos would instantly ensue...as rhyme reason and order would quickly break down & and unbridled chaos & madness would consume all things. The end of everything as we know it AND us would be the final outcome, as without purpose... there would be no reason for us to be because the universe cannot "be" without US playing our part in advancing universal purpose. Yes, WE ALL have roles to play on the stage of all that is, or we simply would not be here. It is not for us to decide our purpose... purpose decides for us what parts we play & when. The when- is when you are in all ways ready to walk a path of high purpose. Our purpose in life... is our reason for being- realize, fulfilling your purpose in elemental existence completes you inside & out, allowing you advancement to ever higher levels of purposeful lives in higher levels of existence. How do I know all this? it is my purpose to know, so I am- self-realized.

Great lecture as usual. I wish the transcript were more complete. There were some words missing or replaced with other words. So it was hard for me to understand what he said sometimes.

The subtitles are from the official transcript that Mr. Hall himself edited and approved. It was made into a printed pamphlet and sold for many years. While it does not exactly conform to the audio lecture, we felt it more important to honor his wishes. And yes, it can be difficult to catch everything he says, especially proper names:)
