_The Sorcerer's Apprentice stays at a cheap motel?_ I really enjoyed this! The animation and art might have been simple, but the story was cool and I liked the humor. I mean, c'mon - _reasonable rats._ It doesn't get better lol. Also the janitor stole the show. At one minute, giving a great "Hurgh?" which was perfectly said by MBH (3:06) and the next, quoting Macbeth. Great voice acting also - I love Mickey!

That stuff. But how the game carries out its endings is very interesting so I really want Manly to check it out

Was not aware Godot was a game engine until looking into the game jam; I had just assumed that there was, somehow, an entire game jam themed after Waiting for Godot, the infamous absurdist/existentialist play where, essentially, nothing happens. The game is a shockingly good expression of that idea, actually, albeit with weird, Red Meat-esque art straight from the early oughts. It's fairly well-developed for a gamejam entry.

Quite impressive for a gamejam project. Its animations may be underwhelming, but funny writing and a neat story more than make up for that. Not to the full extent, but I agree that the Hotel California song may have inspired some of this.

I got halfway through this video and realized why the art style is so familiar. The way the people (not rats) are drawn are strikingly similar to David Firth's "Salad Fingers" series, I guess not as gory or disturbing, but looking slightly unhinged is a part of it.
