The chase scenes are very suspenceful. In other RPGs they never really scared me, because you were always much faster than the enemy. But here? hO Boy.

I like the unpredictability of the enemies and the stamina bar, but it seems like so many of these chases are trial-and-error and basically guarantee you're going to get caught at least the first, if not multiple times. The instant I have to replay a section more than once, all tension immediately leaves the scenario. It's a delicate balancing act horror games have to maintain: you have to make the threat dangerous enough that it actually seems like a credible threat, but you don't want to make it *so* dangerous that gameplay becomes more frustrating or a matter of memorization rather than panicked flailing. The dev has a good thing going on here, but they really need to make some tweaks.

I suppose he could be our supposed ally who won't show his face, but I have my doubts that guy will actually be on our side when things amp up.
