This movie has some great music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and some dope acting by Simbhu. But the writing is outdated and regressive. Worst message to send out to young guys. If Madhan had a problem with girls who cheat, then why doesn't he also kill the guys who cheat with them? Why such a bad image of "modern" girls? What the fuck kind of police would just say the police team won't catch the killer because he thinks the killer is justified in going on a serial killing rampage because he's killing cheating girls? Why are the guys playing FLAMES in university? Isn't that a game played by kids? What is up with the rape jokes at the start? Why such a poor image of a therapist at the start of the film itself? Does this guy realize how much mental health is still a stigma? What kind of brother goes around killing girls and also having sex with them to take revenge for his brother? Why not just kill the girls? Isn't he doing the same thing as the cheating girls by participating in the cheating? I like Simbhu and his acting. But this kind of film is the exact type of films we don't want in Tamil cinema (or any cinema for that matter). If you want to make a movie about a playboy serial killer, at least don't lecture the audience and justify your misogyny (the hero's idea of a good woman is basically a loosu heroine who loves a guy who raped her in her dreams) for 3 hours.
