Well as expected the main stream information, regarding 1991 economic reforms still remains what was in a manner imposed on Indians...which is kind of Half truth. The fact remains that entire Liberalisation,Privatization and Globalisation (LPG )elements in Economic policy of 1991 were actually proper recommendations and conditions of IMF to save and reform Indian economy. It is the most possible way ahead was known to more less to top Indian leadership of that time. Had chandrashekar govt. would not have fallen, Mr. Yashwant Sinha probably would have been presenting such economic policy and execution plan...as he was clear that IMF loan was needed. But congress govt. pull out the support at crucial time. Anyways, it was Mr.Narshima Rao who actually took bold decision to accept IMF conditions and excute IMF recommendations..to save Indian economy. Manmohan Sigh then presented the economic policy based on IMF recommendations and conditions and started executing it.

A very stupid pm...who gave into corruption of Congress leaders, never raised a voice abt 26/11. A jhatu economist who devalued currency. The commonly educated always will find his economic sense amazing 👌 , but only the really intelligent ones will sigh 😕 in shock 😲 and silence. Devaluing home currency is not an alchemy of economics that it will help one attain the ever lasting fountain of economic growth and prosperity. He even had the guts to say that muslims have the first right to Indias property.
