So now in about 21 days, we should be seeing the start of these queens offspring. Maybe a few weeks after that I can start to judge the Temperment of these bees. Hope they are good. But if not, we will see. If I'm doing an inspection without a jacket then you'll know. 😁😁😁

What do you do to "speed feed" - Thanks man I LOVE your videos!
@strutt013 ай бұрын
It's just the feeder I use. It's the old school hive top Dadant alot of people don't like because it will drown alot of bees if you don't address it's issue. I made 3 videos about it. 1 for drowning mod 2 for trickle feed mod 3 using as an open feeder And if your into quilt boxes, it's good for that too. kzbin.info/aero/PLYxaWs6s7c_Ax0Y2VfGBl1MtwgqFA27hy&si=ngvrdF2GvtUVuSyJ

My Russians were from Man-lake Kentucky ❤❤

My hives cooked 2 of my queens. The fried one from Coy's and one from Smiths. So I got 2 from Mann Lake and it was a bear getting them to accept them. As soon as id set the cage in the hive they'd have 50 bees all over that cage.

Do you typically have small nuc style colonies?
@strutt014 ай бұрын
No. Only for starting colony's. Out of the 6 new Russians I now have 2 of them in 10 frame equipment. I started bee keeping using all nukes but they can't make the honey the 10 frame hives can. Nukes are awesome for making queens, hives and brood. But not for large amounts of honey
