Ruchita, an idealistic women whose skin had been darkened and she happily lives with her mother, father and grandmother in Uttar Pradesh where other side Nihar, the son of the famous businessman named Naresh Goyal who lives with his mother Poonam, his brother Prathik, his wife Ritu in another city.
Fifteen years later, Ruchita’s daughters, Ruhi and Juhi, are grown, with Ruhi resembling Ruchita and Juhi resembling Nihar. Ruhi falls in love with Nahar Goenka, despite interference from Poonam and Sumitra, and they marry. Sumitra plots against Ruhi, aligning with Agni, Nahar’s former fiancée, who schemes to separate them. Ruhi is framed, buried, but returns to expose Agni’s crimes with Juhi’s help. Agni is ousted, but Sumitra’s plotting causes Ruhi to miscarry. Meanwhile, Juhi marries Nahar’s half-brother, Samar, though she initially dislikes him. Sumitra continues to fuel discord, hoping to drive the sisters apart.
