Listening at this song I feel that rafi saab's potential was not fully utilised by music directors. Rafi saab was very high quality singer and genius. Only Naushad saab was able to use talent of rafi saab's Unmatchable voice and talent of classical singing. Others had not that much capability to use rafi saab's talent and voice. Having lived most of my life in New York and having the privilege to be be exposed to worlds great singers/bands/composers of all styles and as a musician, I can tell you with 100% certainty that he was truly the best singer ever to grace the mic and what can I say about his gem of a personality. His own style. Very rarely singing without his little paper or book in his hands or in front of him. Doing more justice and close to the original song if lead by a maestro. Otherwise lead by his own armonium. And when there was no maestro leading he would would change and toy with the songs. And he would allow himself to get close to his audience. He knew he had to be professional where he had to. For example when performing in places like Wembley he would be more serious but his rapport with his audience would be very close when he performed on stages which were poor. And closest when performing among people who reflected the indian norms. He never considered himself high. Anyone with an achievement like his would be walking in the clouds but not him. A true indian model reflecting the values of our fathers and forefathers. By behaving like a little man this man has shown that he is one of the greatest man ever who set foot on the indian soil.

Rafi sahab is singing this difficult song live so effortlessly.I'm amazed to see he is not too close from the mike,but you can feel the power of his voice.without making weird faces without twisting his mouth like the singers do now a days he is just cake walking this song.He even does not fully opening his mouth.This is god singing and nobody else.Jai Rafi sahab.

Parth Sharma ha ha ha. Im a huge Sonu Nigam fan but I wouldn't dare considering him better than Rafi Sahab even if I'm drunk. He tries hard and gets closer to Rafi sahab than the others, yet he is light years behind. What he does with gigantic efforts, Rafi sahab did it with ease. His high scale singing is also ordinary when compared with Rafi sahab.
