In your opinion, what is the benefit of two mangroves as opposed to one, or one mangrove and a different voice paired with it?

At a somewhat shallow level : aesthetics. It is also interesting at a haptic level to have the the doubling faceplates informing how you will interact with them. Conceptually, I was interested in the ways the formant glitchiness could interact under different types of modulation when applied to both modules. I think the PPM really opens it up as well. However, I think you can find reasons to pair a Mangrove with any other oscillator that you find interesting. When I think of pairings, I think of anything as 'simple' as a Make Noise STO or and Intellijel Dixie, or something way more gnarly such as the Endorphin.es Furthurrrr Generator. The argument against it is that often times, less is more - so simplicity can be a more elegant solution. But that really depends what type of sounds you are inspired to make.
