My late father's Christmas album of all time. It has been 11 years since he died of ALS and I still miss him. Songs like these make me remember the times we had when he would play this on the way home from Christmas Eve when I was a small boy. They were tears of sadness at first listening to songs like this after his death, but now they are tears of joy and reverence. I miss you Dad. We will meet again.

My dad cried one time at the climax of this nostalgic and emotion moving piece. Ive cried too...hehe...it brings back memories when this Album came out and I bought it at Barnes & Nobles and ever since its been playing every year starting November till kings day jan 6. I've frequently said that even though Chip Davis may be agnostic, he challenges all of us with the deep reverence he shows towards the season we celebrate Christ's birth. Sometimes, Father God will use an agnostic to prod us into repentance for our many sins and cause us to return to the God that loved all of us so much that He gave the first Christmas present, His Son, to take our heinous sins upon Himself and give us the second present, eternal life.
