@@donaldforeman4010 I mean in terms of legacy and impact on the genre, Ruben and Dre are way at the top but I think in terms of pure beatmaking ability, Mannie Fresh and Pharrell (and Chad Hugo) are way better than Dre and Ruben. Pharrell (+Neptune's) discography alone makes them one of the top producers in the modern era. Mannie Fresh and Pharrell rarely used samples. And when they did, they were usually indistinguishable from the original piece of music. Dre relied heavily on samples and additional instrumentalists who created their own melodies (like Storch). And for the past couple decades, Ruben just comes in and basically adds finishing touches and expertise, rather than creating original music At the end of the day, Dre puts everything together as a producer should and both he and Ruben have the "ear" for the right sounds.

@KevofThes
@KevofThes 7 жыл бұрын
No one would see it. They'd be no plot unless Birdman is the villain. And then, it'd be generic because Suge Knight has already beat him to it. A solo Lil Wayne biopic would be good though because at this point, Birdman is a developed con with his own uniqueness. I see some potential for it. Like Birdman and Jay Z would attempt to speak/think for him, Birdman already been doing it, speculating who he rather sign or remain signed to for his gift. Like a metaphor of two emperors fighting over a orphaned prince. I'd be sick if done right.
@ikeslapabitch6514
@ikeslapabitch6514 7 жыл бұрын
Kungfu Kong it would definitely focus more on Lil Wayne the way Straight Outta Compton focused more on Eazy E. it'll start with Lil Wayne step father dying and then after that lil Wayne would later on accidentally shoot himself as a kid. Or they could just skip all of that n skip to the part where Wayne is rapping against older dudes and birdman just happens to be there watching him. After Wayne wins he tells him he wants him to join his group. This should be like 20% into the movie how they met. Then the hot boyz chemistry and getting to know them would come about. Especially juvenile who I think will be the ice cube screen time of this movie like in Straight Outta Compton. Wayne and Toya's relationship should be explored in the film around this percent. And by 50% of the film the group should already be going on tours and making videos. 60% they start having disputes over money and the group breaks up leaving only Wayne, Birdman, n Mannie Fresh. Mannie n Wayne make the carter series Wayne get married. The least 40% should be how Wayne found drake n Nicki Minaj and expanded into one of the greatest rappers of all time. But it probably won't happen unless lil Wayne or birdman dies then it will def happen.

Boss HoggOutLaw sure, but you gotta admit, 500 degreez, tha block is hot, and I'm sure (atleast) the first Carter may have helped a bit. I honestly don't know much about the early CM days, but the way I see it wayne had much more of an influence than juv. I say (atleast) mainly because after he had helped established cash money they got more artists and alleviated that pressure of being one of the sole members of a label AND starting your own label.

Don't say genius. If in fact he does surpass most In intelligence then sure, Rap is a cool profession. But a Genius. Then I'm disappointed he chose rap. But then maybe he's just a Genius at Rap. Regardless we need more Doctors& educators in the Schools. Sorry if I came off negative.

Leonardo Davinci your comment is not only invalid it’s definitely not Necessary. Rap is the number one genre in the world. So if he is the number one artist in the number one world, how is that chosen profession not genius level? Rapping is a spoken word form of teaching. To be able to influence generations for 4 decades is not only nearly impossible but it’s worthy of praise. Gtfo here

B.G. warned Lil Wayne for many years. I listened to an interview where B G. simply said Wayne doesn't know better and called him poor thing. Birdman took advantage of him. Sad story now he not making music with all these lawsuits going on smh. Don't expect Drake to resign with Cash Money when his contract is up.

I think it’s sad that Mannie (and most likely the rest of em) referred to him as a “weirdo” instead of a term like “gifted”. Not that he meant it derogatory, but I feel it further shows how being in that hood environment our people, including “others” looking down on them, can screw their head up. He felt bad for being specially intelligent, seriously? And even in my middle class up bringing I went through the stupid comments about being smart and witnessed other people go through it to. Not to mention ignorant asses (i.e. “cash me ousside” girl) get praised, hella paid, and popularity for saying, and doing dumb shit. Our society needs a complete overhaul
