Manni please try this --> Use any version of Max Fafnir and use 4 Hurricane on it . And use quantum radar as a active module. Use Svyatogor belov pilot in it . And it's done 👍. You can snipe at your homebase while flying and you can also fire all 4 Hurricanes with shield break using this trick --> Fire all Hurricanes and activate it's fly ability by using it from the ground . Hope you pin me 😊

Ran the Demeter every day since it was gifted 2 years ago. Manni should have shared his shield. I try and save a mothership shield to gift to my rescued patients. While healing them. I keep mender as last bot for titan healing

During like 5 years of playing this I’ve spent probably like 3000 if not more on this game! Lately probably 800$ but I got mk2 lvl 12 rust weapons and mk2 lvl 12 dot weapons for every bot in 2 hangers

Should never have the same weapon type in multiple hanger. Each hanger should at least introduce something new, so that way you have define setups that'll work better on different maps.

Great video Manni, but as a fafnir only player with 500+ hours on the fafnir, I really think you could improve the build. Obviously the damper is overpowered, but not everyone can get it. 4x hazard works extremely well for me. I can kill Ochos and ophions easily with them. Additionally, although the Shay drone is nice with the last stand, the kestrel is just vastly better. It can give 52% damage buff as well as the heal back that keeps you alive forever, and, most importantly, after 4 kills you get 40% speed buff which is absolutely insane for the fafnir. With pilot skills (especially the speed in ability) this brings fafnir back to pre nerf essentially (the built in weapon is still nerfed obviously). Instead of last stand I use repair amplifier. Since the kestrel keeps repairing, a single repair amp almost always fully charges during my matches which gives the defense points you get from the defense points in ability that you use instead of speed. Instead of the anti control I use another nuke amp, but my weapons aren’t maxed out so it’s hard to charge it fully in a reasonable time without two. Additionally, having two gives +50% defense penetration which is amazing against titans. Finally, for strategy I basically never fly during the beginning as there are almost always crisis reapers that will instakill. Additionally, without the 40% speed from kestrel you are very vulnerable. Instead, I focus on getting some kills to get the kestrel buffs and to charge nuke amp and repair amp. Once both are fully charged you have some defense as well as insane damage from the built in weapon, so you can fly and destroy titans and anything with a shield. As for how to specially use the flight, it’s really important to use it under cover. The reason is the if you fly above cover, you can easily be deleted by newtons or other snipers. Additionally, if there is cover in mid like on moon, you can easily get three titans to shoot you at the same time and supercharge the built in weapon. If the enemy is using the titan shotguns, you basically have a free win because they will supercharge you with just a few hits and will do almost no damage if you stay beyond 300m. The important thing to remember when playing a fafnir is that almost everyone you play against is trash and just relies on meta bots. They will shoot all of their firepower into your shield because they probably don’t even remember how the fafnir works. For my active module, I tend to use quantum radar because it allows me to kill the hardest counter to fafnir (crisis) as well as any lynx or imugi or anything using stealth module or beak drone. Phase shift is obviously very good (you can survive newtons with shield and then phase shift), but it’s expensive to use. Another important thing to mention is that newton choke doesn’t work in your flight, it just locks you in place, so you can easily counter fulgar tonan newtons by baiting their shots and then shooting them for 5 seconds. It makes them extremely mad as they are used to press choke press shoot and kill. Anyways, this is a long comments but the fafnir is one of the highest skill cap robots in the game so it is deserved. Using these strategies I have gotten to champions league basically only using fafnir as it last through the whole match.

Definitely an awesome read for people playing fafnir a lot. I wanted to run double last stand to be able to counter brawl for a long time knowing I have 2 other robots to jump into. You’re right - kestrel is atm the best choice still. But… it gets a strong nerf soon and I wanted to try out alternative already.

My setup is more for stalker mode from a distance, and try to time them when they're pressured to take off at 485 meters to get off a special ability/shield breaker. Pray it freezes them, and that there are teammates near by to clean it up if its still alive after last stand. Fall back, reload everything. Its a test of patience. 😅

I have another account in which I have a fafnir which has 3 skadis and a medium punisher and the Noa pilot, so what pisses me off is like when you start to fly you gain a shield which is pretty broken but right when you get the chance to go back down your shield goes away making you so exposed so think you’re shooting and randomly your shield disappears so you die fast.
