use right bumper to get a midfielder to press the opposition, and take control of a fullback or CB, just anticipate the pass a little with them, much easier

To stop the cut back, hold off and jockey with your defender and when they get to the bar line double tap R1 and hold it and 2 other defenders will go close to what attackers are in the box and it will stop the cut back allot more

For defense what I did is I put the full backs on stay back together with one or 2 of the CM or CDM and have the wingers on always come back on defense

RULE CHANGE: if you manage to get 3 wins you should be able to use a least one player in the pack, otherwise what’s the point of opening a pack other than to get a player in the future you could use

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I hope you see this and give it some thought. With the struggles of defensive upgrades, and the rule already implemented about RQ = +1 defensive points, I thought that idea could maybe be built upon? Say you score 3 more goals than your opponent, that'd be +1 defensive upgrade - 5 goals and thats a +2 defensive upgrade. It'd work the same way as a RQ, they're still trying to play but they're down so many goals that it may as well be labelled as a forceRQ.

Suggestion instead of getting upgrades only from clean sheets you should start with three defensive upgrades and every goal you concede you lose one

I think to upgrade any player past 86 rated, it should be a f8tal style system (but toned down a bit). Goal with Jed = 5k to upgrade any attacker Assist with Jed = 5k to upgrade any midfielder Clean sheet = 20k to upgrade any defender Win a game = 5k to upgrade any player Rage quit = bonus 5k to upgrade any player (on top of the win bonus) All coins can be stored across episodes (ie no point trying to buy an 87 rated forward for 5k), and coins can be recouped from replacing a player (eg if you upgrade to an 87 rated striker worth 50k, and you earn another 50k, if you get rid of the old ST you can get a 100k ST instead), but only players who were obtained using the coin method. If you have untradables, it's their market value that counts.

Change to more defensive formation but have on counterattack and wide formation. Jed is high enough to get bags in the centre but the players you’re adding are crossing biased in the game right now. Refs are non existent so aggressive plays are the best. Pace is back. 2015 FIFA vibes. LB upgrades for sure
