I find that for this Area, using a corrosive Lyuda instead of a Pimpernel allows you to clean up the loaders faster since Lyuda is just the more accurate weapon and loaders have defined crit hit spots. With the Pimpernel sometimes you have to feel around to find the sweet spot, which i find kinda pointless since you can just point-and-shoot loaders with a Lyuda. This is especially true against Angelic Guards.

Nice run! I farmed the shit out of this location over the holidays with my 72 Maya. I picked up several ancient relics, a few legends, the storm pearlescent , and also the deliverance(yes from Tumba).

FACT: If you take the second tape in the loot midget box, you will get 3 midgets much more frequently than 4. Leaving the second tape in the box makes it so that you get 4 midgets more frequently

I just got to 72 and I've managed to get 4 legendary class mods(3 siren 1 mechromancer) 2 pearls and a dozen or so legends but to note I've also did the bit like 50 times so it's not perfect to drop as a few times I've gotten nothing. A tip is to go to the wildlife arena on a lover difficulty then change to the highest or what ever so you can save some time and not worry too much on restarting. The longest part would be the area before you get to the loot midgets. This place is also good to sawn jinkins.

Definitely seems to be better midget hunting ground than Thousand Cuts (Rocco's Modern Strife active), I think at one point I went 12 runs without a single item drop, at least 3 of which spawned only 1 midget. On the up-side Maya breezes through the runs with a dpuh (which you can at least farm vendor for a perfect one, just a shame they didn't do machines for other manufacturers).

I've had pretty bad luck with loot midgets since installing the community patch as well. Perhaps something about how the patch messes with loot pools has had an adverse effect on loot midgets.

Why dont you use the Might of the Seraphs relic? It gives you like +50% melee damage, right? It might be very useful for the last killing blow on the boss. I can kinda guess the answer - you value action skill cooldown more, and minmaxing by switching relics afer every execute would shurely lead to finger hemorroids.

Giant Magical Duck its bugged. It doesnt actually give you that much melee damage. In fact, its so bugged it only adds a miniscule amount, which is not necessary for melee zero use.

Cooldown on Zer0 is always superior to any other relic effect. More cooldown equals more Deception which in turn equals more damage.

Zack Cyrus I stand corrected. I always saw it as a pointless relic. Also, salvador needs a fourth tree for melee. Hes not powerful enough and needs a buff to actually enjoy him.

I suspect that favorable drops are increased after you have multiple legit builds. While I was getting my first Zer0 to OP8 I would intersperse his build with starting and building my Maya and my Axton as well as a few other Zer0's. I believe that what you had suggested be implemented, that there being a way to increase favorable drops via kill count, may very well exist to some degree and is possibly stored in the profile.bin file (just my guess). When I farmed for my Lyuda's not only did I get favorable drops with good part configurations I was able to get a perfect shock Lyuda. When farming for my Pimpernel's, my guess would be that, around 70% of the rejects had a Maliwan grip. On the bone of the ancients I was stunned when after only 30min of farming I got a perfect fire and shock bone of the ancients. I've also noticed that even the lower tiered weapons that drop tend to have matching grips far more often than when I first started playing this game in Sep 2016. Just a note. It may be pure RNG luck however, even given my 1700 hours of game time thus far, I'm still not entirely convinced. Nevertheless that seems to be what I've noticed to be the case at least in my game-play. Still that mod would be dope to have.

That DC rant was quite amusing :P I live in a small city (it's officially a city but more like a village really) in Europe so no experience with it myself... I was thinking you were going to stop talking and I would skip ahead to where you found the better bone, but glad you didn't. It seemed quite clear you were getting fed up with it to me, a couple runs before you finally found it you were ads-ing at a bone and shaking the screen a bit like "that's the one!" and then when you got closer and it was just another low grade one the camera stopped moving, in my mind I could almost hear your head fall on your desk or something like that ;-) As for the odds of getting two gunnerangs... I personally think that Borderlands has a very dodgy randomizer. I've had several occasions on the slot machines in Sanctuary where I'd get a jackpot on both machines at the same time (and it's not like I've played those things THAT much). Also with other loot, where it seemed like the RNG gets stuck and spits out the same rare result twice in a row.

I do this farm almost religiously lol. PSA for XBONE players. Lead the loot midgets outta the room. I noticed loot was dropping through the floor. I lost 2 legendaries (unsure of what they were) and lost an Avenger. Only that i noticed and wasnt quick enough to save i couldve lost way more lol.

I've been working on an electric melee Zero and I've started getting multiple multiple shock mega skags. Unfortunately I only have the vanilla and no dlc's so me and my lvl 50 Assassin that is absolutely BA. Plus the slag clitch got me in the +90% on everything.

I have farmed a perfect Corrosive and Shock Bone Of The Ancients. My Fire Bone Of The Ancients is 1 point below perfect. All were farmed in just the top part of Sawtooth Cauldron. You clear the area out, open chests and lockers. After that you simply go to another map and return.

I'm on an xbox 360 with the raw first version of bl2. Out if the 400+ times I killed terramorphous I got one hide. It was probably attempt 200 ish and couldnt believe it. Acquired 3 teeth of terra which I have two on one gunzerker for an experimental and ideal gunzerking attempt lol.

You should look into the Chere-Amie with the community patch. Obviously it doesn't do the same damage as a pimp/Lyuda, but its a very viable weapon and can heal quite consistently.

It surprises me that Borderlands 2 is waaaaay more grindy than Warframe which is a free to play game. Hopefully BL3 is closer to BL1 in terms of loot drop generosity and the the relatively high chance for legendary world drops via mobs and chests. Made felt killing every last enemy and finding every chest worth it.

BUL loaders don't use shotguns, they have a arm that shoots gyrojet-like projectiles, and they shoot only 3-4 projectiles at a time

There is a theory that drop rates are increased with the mission still open. Along with chance of spawns increased.

Has the drop rate been nerfed? I used to play on PS3 and it used to be pretty much every one of them drops Relic every time and high chance of Legendary/Pearl. Started playing on PS4 recently and seems to be the same thing in this vid, one purple or E-Tech per run if I’m lucky.

I started on 360 but that shouldn't make a difference drop rate wise, but my hunting ground of Thousand cuts might - There I would go multiple runs without any drop, and in some cases decreased midget spawns and this was from before the pre-sequal release (about a year and a half) up until the middle of last year. I will be moving to exploitation preserve on my PS4 playthroughs and I will get back to you.

I’ve never farmed in Thousand Cuts but from missions that I had to be there I never got many midget spawns or much loot from them. That’s why I prefer Wildlife Preservation since those 4 boxes are guaranteed with Doctor’s Order active. But yeah, would be awesome if you could, thanks :)

Best way I found was to check for Tubbies where Tumba sometimes spawns. Then open every yellow crate since Loot Midgets can spawn from them. Clear all the enemies before the Loot Midget room since it seems to affect the midget loot and keep your ammo high since that also seems to affect the loot. Always open the red chest. Then once you kill all the midgets go back to the creature slaughter dome and do the first round to look for Tubbies but don't finish the round. Save and quit before you finish the round. You can find a lot of legendary gear, class mods and relics.

DanteSS Lyuda needs Vladof grip and damage prefix (gromky), and pimpernel needs maliwan grip and either damage(barking) or fire rate (Banbury). sight and stock are personal preference

Sights are personal preference, you want a Dahl stock on a Pimp, and either a Vladof or Dahl stock on a Lyuda. Past that, always match your grip to your gun (Maliwan grip to Maliwan rifle, etc). Mag size is usually better than damage.

Jacob Kern That last part is not necessarily true. With At 0ne With The Gun, you can bump your sniper magazine size by 5, which makes going for a magazine prefix really redundant on Sniper Rifles for Zer0. So a Gromky/Barking or Dandy/Skorry prefix is better on Snipers.
