Personally, I feel she’s still one fight away from a title shot. She beat a one handed Rose who had a first fight at flyweight via a decision. Hardly convincing to call for a title shot. UFC should make a fight between her a Blanchfield and winner gets the next title shot

Thank you, that's what I've been saying too. Poor performance by Manon. She has trouble with fighters that are her height. She only destroys fighters who are a head shorter than her and can't strike. Blanchfield already deserves the title shot by beating a former title challenger that was favored to win, in my opinion. But I wouldn't be against Manon and Erin fighting for a title shot.

She was still the same fighter with power and speed. But since you want to play this childish game: Manon barely beat a one-handed Rose, a Kaytlin that was never a good fighter, a Maia that forgot that she was a grappler, an undersized Ricci and a severly drained Mayra that now fights in her right weightclass. Manon will never become champ fighting like that. She bullies little fighters.

If anyone deserves to fight for the title, other than Valentina, it's Erin Blanchfield not Manon. In an interview with The Schmo Erin said "If I have to beat up on Manon to get a title shot, then I will". I've watched both of these ladies fight and I think Erin will tear this girl up. Erin is relentless and tenacious. I don't see that in Manon. Her nickname "cold blooded" fits her well. This Frenchy can't hang with Erin.

On Mexican Independence day, with a belt made for Grasso, the judges couldn't call Grasso the winner of a fight where Valentina had one hand; noone could substantiate the Val was the lessor fighter. Valentina was robbed. For optix, we know why Grasso kept the belt, and I rooted for her to win.

I keep hearing "while Valentina recovers". When do people think this trilogy is going to take place? 3 months from now? You're probably looking at 8-12 months before that trilogy takes place, unless Valentina has a recovery setback. Erin vs Manon would probably be the fight to make and be on or close to that same timeline. 5 round fight night main event. If the UFC (Dana already wants the trilogy btw) wanted to move on then I think Erins resume is a tad bit better than Manon's but not by much, very very close. Erin beat Santos and Andrade. I don't want to hear excuses about Andrade's short notice fight, Shes a former champ. Erin stopped her then Yan then Tatiana. Andrade was 4-1 in her last 5 fights and was on a 3 fight win streak and had just pounded Lauren Murphy before she lost 3 in a row. Other than Thug Rose (who isn't currently ranked anywhere, was compromised, isn't a flyweight and looked horrible last time out) Manon beat a couple girls who haven't been legit title contenders for 2-3 years now (Chookagian, Maia). UFC has a chance to market Erin and have her fight to become the youngest women's champion in history. Don't know if anything about Manon's resume trumps that?

Manon hasn't had any finishes against ranked fighters -- Erin has finishes. Manon can wait, but if she really wants to make a statement, then fight Talia Santos and get a finish. I certainly won't have any questions if she manages to do that. Another option is to fight Erin -- if Erin doesn't want to wait around for Grasso vs. Schevchenko 3 to get settled. Right now, she fights like an athletic version of Chookagian with no finishing ability against the more talented fighters in the division.
