Excellent Scratchy Corner Rx and Tx......I have the the equivalent Communicators 440 with the dark signal meter and never had a problem....cheers chaps for a good road test 👍

I'll be wear on the test mike switch contacts....notice it when when I was fumbling around the back to find the hi/lo power switch & no doubt applying less pressure to the PTT. Richard, G0OJF, UK

3.5w?? It was just about 3.2w on the bench test?

The set was hot during the transmitter tune-up & produced 3.2W. When cold it manages 3.5W. I could always change the transmitter ballast resistor to a hefier type on this type of chassis. Do you want to see a video where I get 4W out of these sets? Richard, G0OJF, UK
