Mansun had within a mere couple of years enough quality b-sides to make a very enjoyable album...and this would be the killer: easily the greatest thing they did outside of their proper albums: like Duran Duran & Dead Kennedys made a baby.

This reminds me of 30 Seconds to Mars, but was recorded years before them, Mansun were so ahead of their time. I hope they return one day.

Underrated? Not really, the sold a million records fo the first album and over 500,000 for the 2nd. Over 200,000 for the third which saw the end of the band who were together for 8 years. They gave away to many brilliant b-sides which should have been potential singles from the albums. Most of their best b-sdies were supposed to be on an album that wasn't released until after the break up of the band. It's called "The Dead Flowers Reject." They didn't play the media like Blur and Oasis did and probably sounded to 80's for the public to really latch on to their sound. You should check out another brilliant band who sounded like Mansun called "The Open." They brought out two brilliant albums but I think guitar music was on it's way out at that time which means they didn't really connect with the public. The albums are "The Silent Hours," and "Statues."

Question, was this a b-side from one of the earlier singles? It's got a brilliant sound about it.
