I really doubt the Cosworth Vega could hold a candle to ANY Manta! Yes, the Cosworth Vega was innovative, but in the styling department the car left much to be desired! Plus, they were notorious for rusting!

Gutes Video... Ich persönlich finde den Manta A besser als den Manta B, da der erste ein eleganteres Design hatte und nicht so klumpig aussah...

The only car that had the similarity... but almost, was the Chevy Vega Cosworth twin cam 4cyl.

Of course! Opel is created by zie Germans so its better. :D To me the vega has that style but no "umph" or performance. Now they are making those cars into drag strip cars dumping a huge V-8. Also in note The Chevy Monza has that equivalence. For the rusting, that really saddens me that they used shitty material to build that car. A way to make easy money... which is sad. Imagine both of the Vega and the Monza had 4cyl turbo chargers, better handling and awsome ground affects.

It goes to show that GM sure as hell cheated us Americans out of a nice car! I sure like that second(?) generation 'coke-bottle' shaped body style which we never got here! I've read that these cars were virtually bulletproof and handled quite well especially for that time. Is this true?
