What a progression of emotions in the delivery! It’s always a treat to watch you act, Siddharth. No matter what, always keep doing what you’re doing because you’re impeccably talented. Loved how you gradually picked up on anger, frustration and hope. The moment when you put the cap on the pen while speaking looked so natural and at the same time, established that you’re using an ink pen (widely used during Manto’s era). And I also loved how you instantly burnt another cigarette without much of a pause. Wonderful, wonderful performance. Also, what a setup! The little details like torch, papers, the colour theme of entire frame, a little bit of sepia tone and the overall, aesthetics spoke so much about how much thought has been put. Also, there is a sound of jhingoor between the pauses used as a filler. Just amazing, Satyam. Loved it. ♥️
