Mantsinen Roundwood Grabs

In this video, you will see two Mantsinen material handling machines in action, each equipped with specialised wood handling grabs: The By-Pass ones, and the Tip-to-Tip ones.
Mantsinen 90 is equipped with By-Pass roundwood grabs. Traditional By-Pass grabs are convenient for general roundwood handling in different applications, especially in terminals. They come in sizes of 1,2 m3 to 2,6 m3 (42 ft3 - 92 ft3).
Meanwhile, the Mantsinen 60 material hander is fitted with Tip-to-Tip Roundwood Grabs. Their shape makes them particularly suitable for unloading roundwood from ships, while also at ports and terminals. When the grab is opened, the jaw tips stay aligned vertically.This makes it easy to grab the roundwood even near the cargo hold wall. The size range of Tip-to-Tip grabs go from 1,6 m3 to 4,5 m3 (56 ft3 - 158 ft3). To further enhance safety and load control, the tip-to-tip grabs are equipped with weight chains.
Like most Mantsinen attachments, roundwood grabs are available with either quick coupling or fixed rotator. When equipped with an adapter for Mantsinen quick coupling system, all attachments can be changed in a few minutes.
