Watching the video definitely provides better context on each of the 20 behaviors. Sharing my notes from this video: (Please feel free to removeve this comment, if you feel watching the video would be better or if it is misleading.) What got you here won’t get you there. 1. Winning Too much * You don't have to try winning in everything you do. * e.g., You have 10 stocks, and even if 6 of them fail, but if your overall portfolio is profitable, so don't focus on each store as a failure, and that should not stop you from selling to save your general portfolio/business. 2. Adding too much value * You don't have to provide value in every conversation and every initiative. * Sometimes Gain value to add value in the future. * This reduces the 'listening' in a conversation and focuses more on preparing what information to speak, share and add value. 3. Passing Judgements. * Combining this with a superiority complex can tend to lower the view of others. * Yes, you're the most important for yourself, but you could treat others equally and don't have to blame them for feeling superiority. 4. Making Destructive Comments * Don't make extreme and sharp comments, which can hurt others, which doesn't help maintain the relation, respect, and understanding of feedback. 5. Starting with No, But, However * Starting with 'No' or 'But' and these words stops you, mentally block you. 6. Telling the world how smart we are. * Boasting should be reduced to conveyance. 7. Speaking when Angry or Excited * Speaking when you're emotional/Angry could lead to opposite results. 8. Negativity, or "let me explain why that won't work." * Starting with an opposing viewpoint about other's and other's ideas closes you to the opportunity. * You don't explain why it won't work; they haven't asked you that. Don't spread the negativity. * It creates a destructive impact, and it's with your limited knowledge, but remember, people who have varying talents can make a difference. 9. Withholding Information * Sharing information help, you grow your knowledge. 10. Failing to Give Proper Recognition * Listen and provide candid and more profound recognition. It shows how much you understood the potential and value others can offer. 11. Taking credit for things you don't deserve * This shows the depth of your self-awareness. * Successful people know there are no short-cuts and hardware, and they're confident on own talent, potential, and effort. * Taking credit that you don't deserve is comfortable and doing more easy things makes you lazy and less motivated to invest your effort to make gains. * Small gains with your own effort will help you grow and build stamina and muscles to gain furthermore. 12. Making Excuses * Excuses and Success cannot co-exist. * Be your judge to determine if you're making an excuse, or is there a creative way to get pass that obstacle? 13. Clinging to the past 14. Playing favorites * Again a leader/individual with a behavior focuses on persons instead of ideas, goals, results, and values. 15. Not Listening * When you speak, you're not learning anything new. * To be a better speaker of rich content, you need to read and listen more. 16. Accept and move on. * Without accepting your fault, you cannot baseline and improve and, also, helps to measure your improvement. 17. Failing to express gratitude * Otherwise, you may feel your life is empty, and you're worthless. * Wake up, check you and your loved ones around are alive. Itself is gratitude even though it's outside your control. * Personally, I was aware of this. Putting in practice takes time, but it's a go-to when I am down and makes a significant difference. 18. Punishing the messenger * Interesting! this is another excellent skill to identify who's on your side and maintain that relation and power to grow as a team. 19. Passing the buck * Creates lack of accountability by blaming others. * Accountability leads to responsibility, action, and change. 20. An excessive need to be "me." * Great point! * Don't mix it up with 'be yourself,' it's essential to have diverse talents, but it's even more important to be part of a team, focus on goals more prominent than you to be accomplished together. Common goals, be one among many, learn the bigger picture and context to contribute your best.

Sir, most of these things are practiced by people who have ego and they purposely do this to dominate others. They won't change their attitude unless they really got aome blow in their life.
