@@mattonthewater no. As a fellow 997TT owner, I’ve studied this a lot!! If the car was tracked, I would advocate strongly for doing coolant lines. As a street car, I choose not to. There is only one that can fail fully and it’s pretty easily addressable if it does go. On the street, it’s inconvenient, not catastrophic. Cam gears are similar. Why would you spend to address when there is no problem. If it slips, it’s not a catastrophic failure and the fix is the same after failure vs doing it prophylactically.
