Had a convo with a local Rx8 engine rebuilder years ago. Auto be the worst tranny. Emission passing at idle, Mazda dialed down the oil metering pump to be 'clean' at idle. Peeps who bought autos drive them like a normal car and not redline regulary etc hence carbon up excessive to disadvantage the Rene. Someone else might chime in otherwise to correct me 😊

Hey brother shwkid dad here did you end up end up finding that rear bumper exhust piece u were looking for .. also when you convert to manual do u need to change the engine end plate/ iron from auto to the manual 1

Yeah bro I got one from Mazda it was like $80 or something. You can run rear iron with no issues bro you just won’t have a flywheel inspection plate on top. My Rx8 is running an auto rear iron

An ratty I'm glad I'm learning about these rx8 engines I had a manual engin a few years ago that I was going to use to put in my sons car but was told it wouldn't fit as I'd have 2 change the end plate an I thought stuff that no point pulling a perfectly good engin apart to change iron so I ended up sorting the auto 4 port engin out an sadly gt rid of the many 1 now I wish I kept it with the price of them these days hahaha awesome vid bro can't wait for the next 1 keep up the progession mad support from SHWKID an FAMZ
