timeshift can do what you were struggling to do here, GUI lays it all out

Been on Nobara since 37, it switched over to KDE with no issues. All AMD system and G_E scripts to run Davinci Resolve works out of the box...no issues and my hopping on main desktop has stopped. 40 is good, working kinks out of new python update gui...

I use Endeavour OS, which is Arch based. It still uses Arch's mirrors instead of its own, has a Calamares installer, and a few other community-based add-ons. If you do the online install it asks you what DE/WM you want to use. Pretty nice. Idk if DWM is available but you could probably do a lightweight one like XFCE or LXQt at first to get your DWM installed.

chris will never use any arch based distros, not even endeavor. Only plain, vanilla, Raw Arch

@@RenpySage DWM is compiled from source. Usually DWM users install a bridge DE to get into some sort of environment or install it from a command-line version. It's usually not included in distros.

@@bladman9700 idk, he's only done Manjaro that I know of. Personally I think he had a bad experience because Manjaro outright replaces the Arch repos with their own for their regular builds.

why do you want to make EFI partition include grub and kernels, why not only EFI(its faster for boot)

I was having a problem with timeshift I was using my 1tb ext4 hdd with with my games with it(250gb) i set it on my hdd and timeshift seems to create a broken snapshot and it wasn't showing on the GUI...

Yeah time shift is questionable Sometimes. I would suggest trying to do a restore before you get too far with your system. For me in Fedora my timeshift restore points don't work, it says file system sub layout not supported when I try to restore

U definitely need to try mx again, it is good(you can pick what tu use, sysvint, systemd). im using plasma 6 on endevour, running nice..

xwayland rootfull mode should let you keep running dwm in theory. i haven't tried it.

Man I'm playing with a chromebook and MrChromebox script with the cs50 and Ubuntu/debian/mint/nixos/others I can't remember changed file stlystem deleted the efi partions in that seabios uefi to replace it 32 gig emmc was filled up freak I just don't know but I'll find out one day maybe I'm hard headed 😂
