try to use grid 5.3x5.3 in prota structure and move the columns and beams to get outside distances 5.3x5.3 , in this case you will get a slab of 5.3x5.3 instead of 5x5

I guess your manual calculation is not conforming with software calculation because all the structural members are connected through axial lines i.e analytically you have to consider 5 m x 5 m slab dimension and beam length as 5m then the self-weight will match cent percent. check all the analytical dimensions of the slab shown in your various software example. Besides, the unit weight of concrete as per the American code is 23.5631, 24, 23.6 & 23.5616 kN/m3 for Etabs, Prota. Robot and Staad pro respectively. Unit weight is slightly different for different countries' codes. For Manual checking and comparison, you have to conform to the analytical model, not the physical model. In your manual calculation, you are considering only 4.4m but all the 4 software is considering 5m as per your modeling. Therefore, the self-weight of your structure will be different from the manual calculation. And Differences/variations in software results are due to variations in unit weight considered by different software as mentioned above.

Hello Sir, Thanks for the Videos....... They are very informative. I have a few questions regarding the modelling in etabs and staad pro. When we have framing system where beams doesn't rest on columns, (which is very common in residential buildings) I have found different results after analysis in staad and etabs. I know etabs have effective factors for sway and non sway and in staad we only provide effective length factor as 0.85. Can we change the effective length factors in etabs and in what cases we can change those sway factors ?? I am asking this question because I am getting a lot of reinforcement even for a small building in etabs. Thanks for your time.

Sir etabs takes death load by default no need to take separately.

Etabs considers Self weight by default. I haven’t defined that separately. I have separated the Floor finish load as Superimposed Dead Load.
