That short fence really makes a difference. Not many people know this, but in the umpire meeting pre-tournament we are told two major details. The balls are juiced and if we have an appeal on a missed base to never call it. They want HRs. Think about it. They make their money on parents buying HR memories. Amazing as I watched parents clamor in their concession stand and dole out big $$$.
