I would enjoy a video on the london system, common responses. I know that's kind of a basic video concept, so if you have a recommended resource, that works too. Loving your content so far!

I enjoy you analyzing your games (both in real time and afterwards) so much, it genuinely helps my 800 elo brain. Engine just doesn’t explain things like people do. Maybe after you finish toying with the bots you could try recording live games with similar analysis (as a semi-regular series)? No nonsense, just genuine games - they could even be not that interesting, but you sure know a lot of theory I never read before
@belchgodКүн бұрын
maybe like subscirber games or smth?

Yes! I’ve had this request before, I’m planning on doing something like it for next week’s videos. It would be really fun with subscribers maybe as a livestream, but I’ll do it first with just human players. Thanks for the suggestion!

This game review is a good reminder that the accuracy grades are based on imaginery games, and not always situationally the best moves imo. Really great game!
@zivronen9539Күн бұрын
The accuracy assumes that you are an engine that can see dozens of steps deep. Under this assumption it is quite good I guess, but it is probably doesn't meaningful unless you are stockfish. This also causes the reason the review gives to be, in many cases, completely esoteric. It often explains the end of a chain reaction which is basically impossible for a person to foresee, especially when the result is slightly worse positioning... On the other end, it is quite good at stating "this move loses the queen" when I miss a bishop...

@balthazarbeutelwolf9097Күн бұрын
The reason the game review was so harsh was because both you and Manuel played this too slow and had several win-to-loss blunders. The last of those was 21..Bd2. Instead, 21..Qa1 wins for black: 22. Bb1 Nb4 23.gf Na2 24.Kc2 Ba4 etc. This motive of the bishop saying hello on a4 also occured in an earlier position. 19..Qa1 was winning for black: 20.Nb1 [if Bb1 then Nb4] Bg5 21.Kd1 Nd4 22.cd Ba4 and white is toast. As a 1900, I did not see any of that, but the one time I was howling at the screen was when you took on h6 with the pawn rather than the rook. And my Stockfish was howling too - it changed the eval from +5 to -2. Basically, the black king can hide behind the pawn, slowing down your attack to the point that black's is now faster.
@iwantcheckmateКүн бұрын
This is a super good analysis. I completely agree, I had a small wave of regret after I blitzed out the pawn move. Thank you for this feedback, this is gold :)

just could tell the AI to show moves to see its line of thought. Note im not that highly Skilled I like to call myself a 1500 player but thats my Ego, I see 1500 players I beat them 1 out of like 5 games, Thus to me im a 1500 player dammit! But tech im not sue me anyways But if we discuss STRAIGHTLY the Best moves "aparently" for both sides at the 13:43 Marker? Black Follows with 1) Pawn to G6 2) Qe3 3) Knight B4 4) your Knight to B1 5) Ba4 6) Bxa4 7) Kd3 Check : Note his is forking your King and Rook, with only your Queen to Take the Knight, but the Knight is guarded by a Pawn, Losing a Queen for a Knight to save your Rook seems bad, Note a few varients was explored reguardless he tends to use your pawn on H7 as a Holdout for his King (H8) kinda stoping your attack on said side, Note with some Varients you may be down a Rook but you have both Knights vs just him having 1 of his Bisups Note one of the Varients I explored had you down both Rooks but you still had your Queen while he didnt have his Queen, and you had both Knights vs him just having a Dark / Black Bisup I personaly Kinda like this posistion but it can be tricky to play.

He didn't castle during the last game. He moved the king to f8 after you put him in check with the bishop on a4, ruining his ability to castle.
