I don't agree with those saying he's average. He does the basic things expected of a typical defensive midfielder.... tackles and intercepts well. Ugarte is destroyer (that is he knows how to foil the play and attacks of the opposition). I also see him as a CDM (Central Defensive Midfielder) that has the stamina to cover spaces in midfield. He's definitely an upgrade to Casemiro and Amrabat in my opinion.

You are partly right but we need energy in that midfield. I think he's going to get few red cards but he's still at an age where he can learn and work on some of his excesses. Kobe brings control (to some extent) already ​@@GoSamOGo

The only problem with Casemiro was with him declining too quick...like Matic did for us..Utd needs someone like Ugarte..might not be everyone's cup of tea, but i would take him or Joao Gomes
