When I was married we owned a brand new 1998 Skyline single wide. For 5 years had one problem with kitchen floor from it being moved and they fixed it right away. I miss my mobile home. Plus, I don't see anymore layouts like the one I had it was homey.

Hi. I really wonder why you don't have STUCCO instead of the ugly siding? That would revolutionize the look of manufactured homes.
@mikel9567 Жыл бұрын
Because Stucco isn't common in the PNW, not to mention it wouldn't hold up during the move. It would make the homes look ugly

Ya it would crack like crazy, they have put thought into everything, everything they use is used for a reason

Are there any issues with insurance or certification of occupation if the house is on or off the frame when put on slab or foundation to make it real estate? Are sheetrock or drywall options or are they the same?

Is it possible to install rockwool insulation instead of fiberglass? More fire and water resistant.

Thanks so much for this tour! I am in the market for a manufactured home and it’s interesting to see how they’re made!

So this building is one that can be moved later on if wanted?
@FactoryExpoHomeCenters Жыл бұрын
Manufactured homes are prefabricated residence that uses standardized parts constructed and assembled in a factory. It’s then transported, and the set-up is completed on-site. Moving a manufactured home after it has been set up can be a complex and costly process but it's not impossible.
