I LOVE this version. I've heard many, & usually you get to pick two from speed, passion, and precision. I've only ever heard the composer provide all three, before this. Really nice!

I've listened to many versions of Fuoco available on KZbin, yours is only bettered by Dyens himself. One of the major flaws of other versions tend to be their rhythm, and the precision and clarity of notes in the faster sections. Yours is impeccable in that respect by comparison.

Perfect comment!! In fact I also think this is the best version of Fuoco after Dyens playing himself.

One of the major flaws of many people playing fuoco is that they tend to be so cocky with their playing and too focused on showing off themseves to look cool. By doing that they frequently get lost in rhythm and sometimes play wrong note. Many people playing this masterpiece should know that the key of Fuoco is simplicity. The guy in the video showed this perfectly

Can someone please explain to me why everybody is playing F# at the end of the piece instead of F natural, which is how Dyens himself plays it? Is there a wrong transcription out there and everybody adopted it without listening to the composer actually playing it?
@ManusNoble19888 ай бұрын
I think people just prefer it that way - 'artistic licence' if you will. That's why I played F#, anyway.

@@ManusNoble1988 one of the best interpretations i could find. The others are either too slow, or not rythmically square. This one is is amazing, congratulation :) (maybe the only thing is at 0:57, you should rest a LITTLE bit more just after the triplet :P). Personnaly, the part i'm struggling too is at the beginning where you have to mute those E basses. So hard...

is that percussive bit at the end safe to do on a lattice top guitar?
