Could you tell the name again of the large alphabet letters the first box. Tips on a smoother print of letters? Keep getting lines of rubber backing around mine.

It's Letter Stamp Kit by Words & Crafts (Breezy typeface). It's really just practice with the rubber ones. I'm often smoothing out those lines myself. Mkm also carries a nice, deep set.
