@daveco1270 Biffy Clyro are the band, they got their name from one of the founding fathers of football, some swedish fella in the 1600's I think (Something like that), but the singer's called Simon Neil.

he's amazing in the second chorus though. doesn't matter coz he's singin with heart. rather him do that and add character to it than perfectly hit tunes done with auto tune or what not. AMAZING.

I love this song, and it's really cute when he messes up. It probably is something to do with the fact his guitar is probably in Standard or Drop D tuning, which doesn't seem to difficult, but the full song (electrically) is in Drop Db/Standard Eb. And as a singer I know a semitone does make a lot of difference, even though it doesn't seem like it would. Beautiful Song :)

I'm going to have to disagree with Mr.Georgie, I don't think it's too high for his voice. It's not American Idol, it's indie/folk rock...doesn't have to be perfect. This is the first time I've heard this band. I really like this tune. Is the guy's name Biffy, or is that the name of the band?

yeah, this was like the only song of the 9 where he was struggling a little on the other side we had no problem with that, we were around 75 people and it sounded better there, my cell phone did great work but i'm 5% disapointed (lol) cause my vids picked up the vocals too much

Yeah but biffy like trying new stuff, you have to remember that, I dunno how you rate yourself in terms on 1-10, but if you haven't listen to their first 3 albums and experience their experimental side. It was the one thing lacking from puzzle, hence why it sold so well.

i think the wrong notes just reflect his character and add a bit of emotion to the song...so he messed up a bit, its high a pretty high note :). its still beautiful

I was wrong, I just checked it against the proper one, it's in the same key :/ meh, he struggles with high notes anyway, and it is still beautiful :) and it is a really high note, I struggle too :P

hugh biffy fan here, but simon simply struggles to hit the high notes. his voice usually doesnt need to go this high. he isnt sick, hes just struggling. not a critisism, its just an honest observation. i openly admit i cant sing higher myself, so i know. beautiful song all the same and i love the new album.

na, the struggeling is deffinitely a character of the song and is meant to be, but he did mess up on a few occasions, big deal. just being there was great enough and yeah some people were yapping the whole time, where my cell phone picked up vocals (and the talking) too much , the sound of the music is not that proper as is was there. and a song is good if it sounds good, not if it is sung good.
