I'm almost 45. When I was 15 or 16 some friends and I snuck into here after hearing it was haunted. We also used a Ouija Board. I can tell you now what we heard was NOT a barn owl. Children crying & talking sound nothing like a barn owl. We had heard young children had been murdered there, but they couldn't confirm it. I do feel something bad happened to children there at some point.

I literally always wanted to go inside that building I’m dumbfounded that it’s on the news and I’m not the only one 😂

I've been inside the ruins back in the 80's. There's really not much left. I have pictures too that I got off of the internet of years after. Thieves stole ever piece of brass or valuable metal from the place. Toilets were destroyed. There isn't much left of the place. And this school has been in the news forever. It has a folklore aspect to it. People love the place and want it saved and this is why it still stands in the form of a shell. They've only been talking FOREVER about doing something, anything to this school.

@@jaxflfreebird that’s cool man and yeah I figured everything would be wrecked to shit but it’s still a very cool place in my opinion, something about it looking so innocent and how it’s withered and abandoned will always be pretty cool to me

Great video! Very educational. It's sad how racism shaped the development of the interstate highway system, splitting communities and abandoning important things like this school.

@@BukBuk187 I've been inside. It is creepy. I was mostly creeped out about being in a building trespassing and me and a friend even ran into a dude who was in the building. My friend said he was glad I was with him. I'm still proud of that comment but little did he know what a weakling and a scaredy cat I really was and still am. I should have told him he wasn't as safe as he thought but even the guy in the school could see I was working out back then and had some muscle. It didn't mean I was a fighter though. I was afraid at every turn that I'd run into somebody, and then we ran into that young, tough looking homeless guy, probably in his 20's as we were.
