You won't know your life is missing a bidet until you have one. I have several of the bidets in this video and would recommend the Cascade to anyone looking for a great bidet that is super intuitive. It has been my favorite for a long time until the Ultra-Nova + entered the scene. I would recommend that one to anyone looking for an amazing bidet experience with all the bells and whistles. Its super sleek, crazy comfortable and looks soo good!! I had the Cascade 3000 model at my other house and I was impressed by 1) the product was great 2) I loved the large button remote and 3) It was SO easy to install. Your installation videos are magnificent, btw. I'm now at a new house and I'm shopping and will buy from you again! I was looking at the S7A to replace my S350e but I've started to realize how small and tall the seating area on the seat is and it looks like the Ultra Nova has a a much better seat so I'm excited about that. It might be a good idea comparing the size and shape of the actual seat as well in the videos. But either way, great video! I agree! I will not do without one!! BUT, if I was building my own home or remodeling the bathroom, I'd want a fixed separate bidet with hot/cold faucets like they have in Europe .

@@Millieshin-yj5mb I disagree, I have a separate bidet and we still use our Swash 1400 instead. I am going to have the separate bidet removed & capped off, don't see the advantage that you see. Though I do actually use the towel idea because the heated dry function is inadequate for where women need to dry most often, so the towel works better. I have my Swash for over 4 years now so a number of these other seats I don't recall from when I was shopping back then. I only happened to stumble on the video somehow, probably because I bought the 1400 from ManyBidets. They were wonderful.

Thank you for watching! The TOTO S7a does not have a sittable lid, but the Ultra Nova does have one rated at 400lbs. As far as the bidet seat itself, the S7A has a weight limit of 330lbs, while the Ultra Nova is rated at 440lbs. As to the issue of guests sitting on the lid, we would recommend an auto open/close lid in this scenario. Both the S7A and Ultra Nova have that feature. To date Toto has not had a seat or integrated unit with a sittable lid so it's hard to tell what their future seats will upgrade to. The nice thing about either the S7A or the Ultra Nova is that if the auto open feature is on, you do not need to worry about sitting on the lid. If that auto open lid feature is not as important as a sittable lid, the Ultra Nova is the way to go!

I’ve watched this video multiple times & both Nova model install videos too. I’m still sort of torn between the two. I think both the Eco Nova & Ultra Nova have great features. Specifically impressive is the dual sterilization of the Eco Nova & the reasonable price. The Ultra Nova seems like it is the top of the line for quality & features, especially the various spray options. I noticed in the installation video that the Ultra Nova uses a filter that is replaced every six months. I’ll have to check out the price of that. Your videos are very helpful, thank you 👍🏼

Bidet nozzles are usually constructed from plastic, aluminum or stainless steel. Plastic nozzles are the most common, and they’re found on budget friendly and luxury bidets alike. On the plus side, plastic nozzles are the cheapest to manufacture. On the other hand, plastic is weaker and more porous than metal (the more porous a material, the easier it is for microbes to linger). This doesn’t mean plastic nozzles are unhygienic or won’t hold up, but it does mean that they are more likely to crack or harbor microbes compared to their aluminum and stainless steel cousins. Aluminum nozzles are the middle-of-the-road option. Aluminum is stronger and less porous than plastic, but it’s more porous than stainless steel and also isn’t as resistant to breakage or corrosion. Even so, aluminum nozzles are likely to hold up well, and they’re less expensive than stainless steel. Stainless steel is considered to be the “gold standard” for nozzles due to its strength, durability, and low porosity. In other words, compared to aluminum and plastic, stainless steel nozzles are the easiest to keep clean and have the lowest chance of breaking, cracking or corroding. Hope this information helps! The Eco Nova is the one on my radar, but only because the Ultra Nova and Toto are out of my price range. I have severe colitis, and my doctor recommended a bidet with some sterilization aspects for when I end up getting the inevitable surgery, and those are my three favorite models. Whichever we end up with, it'll be our first time even so much as using a bidet! The Ultra Nova's more comfortable seat for larger people, and its sleek look are both nice bonuses!

The feature I’m most excited about: thin, modern design that blends/disappears like a regular seat and doesn’t draw any unwanted attention to the toilet. A close second is the enema wash, very underrated feature that many manufacturers are ignoring but is essential for a perfect wash and/or people with medical conditions. This type of wash is for people with experience using bidets, but once you master the art of bidet use, you know a soft enema wash is a must for MANY reasons.

My favorite feature has to be the adjustable water temperature control. There’s nothing like it, especially during the winter months. The great thing about the Ultra Nova is that it is the most like a regular toilet seat than other bidets. It does not start running a pre-rinse of the nozzle until you select a wash so it is completely silent if a user is using the toilet but not wanting to use the wash features. Also having a risk free trial is a great way to give it a try!

My favorite features are the auto-opening as well as the auto-flushing…! 😊 The reason is…… Just because it’s soo awesome!! 😂 😜 I mean, of course there are a lot of interesting features that are crazy like the warming seat and air drying?! 😂 But I mean… If I could afford it, the auto-opening and auto-flushing are just so cool and over the top! 😁 I don’t mean that I just want to impress people or something, but these are the kinds of features that are just hilarious and fun to talk/joke about! 😁 😜

🚽 After watching your excellent, comprehensive video, I am most impressed with the Ultra NOVA for several reasons. I currently have a BioBidet BB-2000 which I've been very happy with...except for the remote control. Frankly, it is terrible because of the IR design. I do like the BB-2000, however, because of the "Vortex" (enema) feature. I have found this feature necessary for my needs. The Ultra NOVA has both an enema wash, as well as an RF remote! An RF remote would make life so much easier by avoiding having to wave my arm around trying to get a direct line-of-sight between the remote and the receiver on the bidet itself! I only wish the Ultra NOVA was not over twice the price of a BB-2000, and only has a one-year a warranty, instead of BB-2000's three-year. 🚽

Thanks for watching! We love the RF remote as well. The Ultra Nova actually was upgraded to have a full 3 year warranty come standard now which is great news!

Who knew I'd be binge-watching butt cleaning videos like they're the latest Netflix series? 🤣 But here I am, courtesy of my mini-me's Pilonidal disease diagnosis. Kids are the ultimate experts at sending parents down weird internet rabbit holes! But seriously, I'm now a connoisseur of all things butt washing, and the Ultra Nova is the crème de la crème. It's like a spa day for your butt. My favorite feature is the hot-cold pulse that gently massages sensitive areas and rhythmic water temperature variations for a soothing experience. With my daughter's upcoming Pilonidal surgery, I'm tempted to get one - or should I say, it's a doctor's order for a bidet?! So, if you need me, I'll be over here, watching videos on the art of butt cleansing... because that's what parenting is all about, right?" But in all seriousness Pilonidal disease is real and this why I’m watching bidet videos as the doctor did recommend a bidet after her surgery. Wish us luck 😊

After considering the myriad of features from bottom up, the auto-open lid dazzles me most, largely due to the aging and/or disabled individuals comprising our household. A significant amount of dignity can be lost when one's total independence is compromised by age or disability, requiring assistance to "GO". Welcome to the bidet, which eases and enhances the bathroom experience by empowering many individuals to regain greater privacy in doing what we all must do: "GO".
