Mao Zedong (Mao Tse-tung) was born on Dec.26, 1893 in Shaoshan. He died on Sept.09, 1976 in Beijing. From 1949 until his death he was chairman of the Communist Party of China. Mao is regarded as the leading politician of the People's Republic of China in the 20th Century. Mao Zedong is considered one of the great strategists of the 20th century who put an end to the semi-feudal relations that still existed in China, his aim was the "total destruction of the traditions and values of the past".

Just imagine, Mao never even travelled outside of China except for one trip to Moscow. BUT he understands geopolitics; and human nature.

Mao was a visionary and he understood much more than any Western leaders in my lifetime. From Carter to Biden, none of these clowns worked for the good of the people.

He had planned to go to France, he had read many versions of Napoleon's biography, and he always wanted to know the real cause of Napoleon's death. He also read the history of China many times.

Wikipedia indicated Dr Sun yat sen He soon went to exile in Japan for safety but returned to found a revolutionary government in the South as a challenge to the warlords who controlled much of the nation. In 1923, he invited representatives of the Communist International to Canton to re-organize his party and formed a brittle alliance with the Chinese Communist Party. He did not live to see his party unify the country under his successor, Chiang Kai-shek, in the Northern Expedition. He died in Beijing of gallbladder cancer on 12 March 1925.

The place Mao lived for ten years after long march is Yan'an(延安), it's not Yunnan(云南). How poorly and misery old China and their people suffered, especially when I saw a little kid was abandoned on the street, adults escape from city like ants. All Chinese live today should remember the path our country came across, and the happiness we're enjoying now were exchanged from Communist and the Chinese people who sacrifice a lot. Long live the great Chinese, Nationalist and Communist party!!!

Mao won because he had the people's heart and promissed land distributions. Chiang on the other hand kept on terrorizing his own people. Mao wasn't a good man but he's the least evil of the two.

China reached its golden age, Tang Dynasty, the best poets lived and poetry were written. Europe was in then in the dark ages. China the second largest economy in the world now, will be the only country/civilization to emerge again.

When Mao FORCED youths to deny their parents I could NOT believe any person would do this to their own people . Mao was a son of a famer.. when he rise to power it was bloody.. Chiang Kai was more mild personality than Mao. Chiang Kai knew Communist party was more hate than reality.. Mao was a ONE WAY street, no mercy.. I am so happy AMERICA has People who understands more about peace and love! This could be the reason why almighty 🙏 God has blessed America !

American know about peace and love? Are you sure? The evidence shows otherwise. The US has been at war for its entire history beginning by removing the head skin of native residents of North America, the genocide of millions of native people and than they moved on to do heinous crimes of mass slavery, the heinous abduction of afericans that were raped and beaten by slave traders and owners and recently illegal invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, killing 500000 children in Iraq due to sanction alone, so what sort of God would love America.

I could not believe any country , esp America to do such crazy acts on humans! In Mao s revolution 50 mllion or more killed .. now, tell me which was worse : Mao s revolution or Bikini island testings!?

Chiang killed Mao's wife, two brothers, one sister, one nephew and destroyed Mao's ancestral graveyard. Mao didn't kill any Chiang's family Instead, he kept Chiang's mother's tomb in great shape and brokered the release of Chiang's son from Russia. So you obviously don't now very much the modern history of China.
