I am a Namibian. Rehoboth, Bethanie and Berseba are towns in Southern Namibia and still called by those names. I don’t know the origin of these names maybe the colonizers came with these names but also wonder why if the colonizers did not come from Israel? The only one that is not there now is Jerusalem

Grief! Never have I heard such rubbish! Go to Wales: Go to USA: Go to Australia - and you will find towns and villages with Biblical names. Yes! you can find "Jordan River" in Utah, USA. You can find "Bethany" in South Australia, Australia. You can find "Carmel" and many other Biblical places in Wales, UK. These places exist in South Africa because the English and Dutch settled in South Africa and named some of their settlements with Biblical place names. If the English and Dutch/Africaners had never settled in South AfricaSouth Africa there would be NO places with these names.

This is easily solvable.. This is the navigation of these lands BEFORE whites had complety colonized it. Whites didn't name these lands if so the names would never had been changed after colonialism. Seeing that the West always claimed They bought Christianity to Africa its a big RED FLAG for Africa to ALREADY have such biblical knowledge. I refer you to the letter of the Belgium Conference or the Congo conference of 1884 stating to his missionaries the people of Congo already knew this God!

And guessed at the rest. B) The Bantu people knew about God prior to colonisation -that is true. But they did not have a full understanding of God. For example: the Luba-Katanga knew God as "Shakapanga" - The Father who created. BUt they knew nothing of the gospel, of Jesus Christ, of the message of salvation. The Luba-Katanga also had other titles and names for God, but they did not pray to Him or worship Him - they offered sacrifices and sought to appease the ancestor spirits. Before the Gospel went to England, the English also lived in paganism. AS did the Germans and the Greeks, etc. The Europeans were no different. They were all living in darkness....

@@JohnnyCrooks I have had a look at that map. It contains MANY errors. For example it has a huge lake in the middle of Africa which is the source of the Nile, Congo and Zambezi Rivers. As we know these rivers all have seperate sources. Also the Niger River, on this map, empties into the Atlantic over near Senegal.... this is also incorrect in reality the mouth of the Niger is in Nigeria. The European geographers were simply guessing at things at the time. In that day and age they got a lot of things wrong .... which were corrected as further explorations occurred. Also. Even if "the Land of the Jews" is up above the equator as the map shows - it certainly is NOT in Southern Africa. Jerusalem should be in "the Land of Jews" not on Namibia.
