Both Dom and Jeff could put together a series, similar to those that Mel Lewis had on radio, where you talk and help digest all the great Jazz drummers. You have the knowledge and the positive delivery. New generations desperately need that.

Jeff is a beautiful drummer and a most musical one. His brush work absolutely the best. Thanks Jeff so nice not to hear a drummer who just thumps on the 2nd and 4th beat all through the song.

Love these guys and Jeff is truly one of my drumming heros. But since they talked a lot about Russ Miller and his design skills....I'd recommend a less heavy, stocky looking logo. Maybe get rid of that oversize M in the background completely? I assume that is an "M"?

Everyone, STOP buying Mapex until they return from stupid and start mounting toms on the bass drum again. Enough is enough. No one in the audience will yell, "Your toms don't resonate as well mounted to the bass drum compared to toms on a stand". No one will give a crap or hear the difference, if there is a difference. Mapex come back to reality. I'm tired of having to do this and that and this and that to build a normal kit. Who wants to carry heavy stands to support toms and adjust ... adjust the tom stands every freaking time you setup for gigs. STOP the nonsense.

@@andyweis5194 As I stated many times Mapex employee, the "NORM" is mounting on the BD. Why would anyone who prefers mounting on the BD which is over 95% of the drumming population be forced to purchase the mounting system. Also be forced to spend time installing or spending more money having it installed. If the BD mounting population exceeds 95% who's the "moron" at Mapex who decided to cater to less than 5% of the drumming population. The norm is unable to fix stupid. That's why I stated before, purchase Gretsch, Tama, Pearl, and others who cater to the greater percentage of the drumming population like Mapex decided not to do. Break free from your little Mapex bubble and return to reality.

@@andyweis5194 Congrats on Crav drums. Did I say anything about Crav drums. Anyone? Crav drums? It's amazing to me when a person is unable to read and understand the point of the conversation. Its amazing to me. Its really unbelievable. Anyway, since you're unable to understand easy English, I'm unable to fix stupid. The whole point of my response, if I say it again, it will go through his small brain a second time. This is for everyone, if you prefer a drum kit that can be setup normally as stated in my last reply to brainless, pick Yamaha, Tama, Gretsch, and others. Don't be forced to pay more for a normal kit. Also be forced to buy, for example, a tom mounting system when it should come standard with the kit as the normal companies mention above do on all their kits. This isn't rocket science but rather simple. Also, I have a Mapex Saturn but it was made back in the days when they created the drum kits correctly. Mapex was good but whoever is in charge currently doesn't understand what a normal kit is. Simple but complicated for Crav drums guy.
