thats not really how breach swapping works but ok... basically its applying the attributes of the mace to the sword, those being the enchantments (Breach IV) which pierces through armor so ur basically enchanting ur diamond sword with Breach IV (but no sharpness)

idk if im wrong but im pretty sure breach swapping is where you apply the breach effect with the mace to your sword temporarily which basically negates damage reduction from the armor which lets ur sword do a bunch of damage.

You don’t put breach on your sword you use the enchantments/effects of the mace with the sword base damage, so he’s not using sharpness when he hits him only breach

Seems a bit odd you consider Squiddo to be the worst if she was able to handle the Trails pretty well to get the core, not to mention winning the MCC. That's not how breach swapping works... If you want to know how it actually works think about how axe swapping to disable shields works, when you time the swap and hit right, you get the enchantment effects of breach, which reduces how much armor protects you from an attack. THATS why it's dealing damage, in actuality the mace does less dmg than a sword does.
