GT7's approach to car pricing is, crazy as it sounds, probably one of the most immersive. Endless grinding for years just to be able to afford tires and an air filter for the [cheapest insurable economy car] you call a racecar, while people who just *have money* can skip right ahead to world-class exotic racing vehicle ownership, is an extremely accurate representation of how motorsport works.

@firelizard2 But this is a medium a lot of people *engage in ESCAPISM* to forget about the misery and drudgery of a world dominated with the 'pay-to-win' mechanics of late-stage capitalism; that REALLY gets to be galling to be smacked in the face with the very thing you're trying to get away from.

Speaking of Sexpoint, when viewing a recommendations Queue on Steam, got a recommendation for a game called "Latex Dungeon" with a little explainer box saying how it's showing up because I allow adult content in my feed. Which I do, and don't often get them, and many of them are funny to see when I do, so I don't mind. But the reason I'm telling this story is because while this game page came through unhampered by warnings, the NEXT game asked me to enter my birthdate to be allowed to see it (I'm WAY over 18). The content: Rainbow 6's next season pass. Honestly, it's refreshing to see the reversal in the usual prudish portrayal of video games, but it did catch me off guard to actually see it.

Also at a decent price (I have no reference off-hand for what constitutes a "decent price") I would totally buy some LRR coasters. All my coasters are old cardboard-ish ones like you'd get at a bar and could really do with replacing. I already wear something branded LRR or DesertBus a couple times a week, might as well start using LRR branded drinking accessories. There absolutely *have* been announcements during the “year of Persona”. P4: Arena Ultimax got a PC port announced, for starters. They also hosted a lottery collaboration and a themed cafe in Tokyo. And then there was the whole Green Paint Bucket-san thing… It’s not super easy to explain, but essentially promo art for P25 was posted that featured all the protagonists in front of a graffiti-style mural with their games’ respective paint colors either on their utensils or splattered on their clothing. But then everyone noticed a prominent space to the left of Joker, occupied only by a green paint bucket (a color not associated with any of the games), and so people are speculating that it was a teaser about an upcoming P6-related announcement. So while yes, there were in fact a great deal of merch announcements, and yes, the year of Persona has so far been very underwhelming, it’s not quite as much of an informational desert as y’all made it out to be here. That last story even seemed right up your alley - it has vague company communication set against a background of delayed announcements and mediocre merch drops, coupled with eccentric fan behavior. I can almost hear the checkpoint story now.
