Yeah. You can never hear the "reporters" in these. Everyone using their cellphone to interview but never speak loud enough for listeners to hear the question.

When Keefe is at the podium, unless the reporters are willing to get off their but and walk to a microphone. No chance you’re going to hear their questions. Yes there are really good condenser mics they could get to pick up room noise i.e. get questions from reporters sitting on their asses yelling questions. As far as it goes for locker room interviews with phones, the microphone we are are hearing is an XLR sm58 plugged in directly to the camera, or it is a microphone from the camera so none of that is cell phone mics, and i can here those questions fine

I'm not trying to be a hater, I'm sure JT has been a great player in his career, but to me it seems like they play better without him? Other players like Domi, Gregor, McMann, have more spry in their step.

They play better when a star player is out of the lineup. Besides Mitch they have a winning record without every core 4. They always turn it up a notch

They also play better without Marner, Matthews, Mo etc. It’s not just JT when leafs have a full lineup you can see they don’t try as hard. Ntm keefe also tends to hardly let the 3rd and 4th get going when he has the 2top lines healthy he’d rather run 2 lines than 4or even 3.

It comes down to Keefe managing mins. He will have the core 5 back to 25 mins a game and domi and the rest back to playing 7 to 8 mins a night.

I'd like to see more of a balanced approach in regard to rolling 4 lines more equitably. Way to much dependence on the core 4. Domi and the rest of them getting 10 minutes? They think something else is gonna happen when Mitch and Matthews are gonna be shut down like what happens every year?

Does he get to keep his money? , This is classic case of addition by subtraction. Reilly is serviceable only if he has a guy to compensate for his high risk plays and JT takes up too much cap space and time. Time to move on from him.
