Tanev too he’s one of the few guys who’s still willing to put his face on the line to get the W even in regular season. Hoping lily steps it up this year, not his biggest fan but hope he can up his physicality under Berube.

I agree. Reilly last year was very mid. He was electric in the playoffs in 2023, but cap is too high now. Best to get something for him while he's still useful to other teams.

Rielly is one of the best at pinching in the O zone. I see Tanev as taking care of business on the D end. Leafs have never had a good partner for Rielly. They do now. Also great they picked up OEL. He fits the second pairing. Kudos for picking up Haka-Hulk for 5/6 minutes. All told around the same cap hit as Marner. Leafs must change this core and get something in return while they can. Letting Marner play out the season, or worse, overpaying to infinity is not good decision making.
