I live about an hours walk from the Scarborough Bluffs by Lake Ontario. It's cold but no snow. There seems to be a lot of rain, though 😕 Have a good weekend.

@ 02:00 Ashley commented to me a few videos ago " we are not off grid and don't claim to be " well, well, well Ashley how the tables have turned LOL but as long Jeremy can get that hot tub up and running on the battery / generator power all will be well. It is great that you have built your life with many back up systems so power outages aren't that big a deal. Good Luck and hope the power is back soon. I live in Florida, so power outages due to hurricanes is a way of life down here !

Mr Cool heat pump of electricity as primary heat with wood stove for back up. Through the wall and duct into the ceiling for each room. Air conditioner in the hot summers.

We have two heat pump splits for heat and a/c, however the wood stove is still the primary heat.

Ashley when i saw you stacking the wood i wondered where is the sled ? After a few trips you said you were going to find it. When Jeremy mentioned the bucket i thought that’s even better. It’s going to be nice when build the deck and canopy for the hot tub. Then you can just walk out and get into it. Did you have that hooked up to the power banks when the electric went out ? My mate up in Huntsville,Ontario has had over 140cm( 55”) in the past week and a half. Here in Toronto we have had nothing ( 3cm or an inch and a half) and it doesn’t bother me in the least.👍👍🇨🇦

I was thinking you need a covered walkway to the hot tub. But then I thought you'd really need to cover the sides of the walkway too, and that would be a pain to build. Then it hit me, get a tube from a water park and run it from the breezeway to the hot tub! Not sure how you'd get out, but do you really need to get out once you're in? lol! Chris
