My husband and I started playing AC in January of this year so that is my “forever” island because he has this crazy notion that time travel will somehow mess everything up. I just bought another Switch and as soon as Christmas is over, I’m going to start building a Christmas Island and if takes me until next Christmas, that’s fine. I’ll still play on our original island bc I love the villagers and enjoy the daily tasks. I’m sure I’m the exception to the rule but the snow doesn’t bother me at all. Love your build today - super cute and I look forward to what’s in store!

I just finished my Christmas winter island. 😅 I’m SO done with the snow. Now I have a fairy core and forever island going!! My forever island is pretty much just me playing the game but I do allow time travel. So I get a taste of everything which is nice!! Love this adorable build. Perfect for Maple. I wish we could hold more than 40 items in our pockets. Too many trips back and forth get old. 😅

@ I do on most my islands but my forever island I’m trying to do it myself with no treasure islands or very little and I sadly don’t have one yet. Soon Though!! 😉

@ I’m actually loving it! I kind of miss having to try. lol. 😂 I like having to get my dailies done, trying to make hybrid flowers and stuff like that. It’s a nice change and makes me appreciate it more. Plus I can change it up anytime!! 😉

@ It’s definitely worth a try. I have two switches and now that I’m completely over my winter build and snow, I’m going to try a city core build, which is something I struggle with so it might be fun to have the other island be more ‘old school’. I just watched Melissa’s normcore series and that looked like a lot of fun, I may try it at game pace without TIs 🙀. Have fun with your islands!

I’m 99% done with my winter/Christmas island and already thinking about spring. I missed doing anything for autumn so my next build will be an autumn/city core island which will be a real challenge for me. I’ve been binge watching your Normcore build from last year and I just love everything about it. I think after this autumn build inevitably burns me out, I’m going to give norm core a try and see if I can do a more minimal build. Can’t wait to see the tour of Nutmeg! ❤

I moved out of the snow. I’m working on a forever island. I’m hoping Nintendo will say they are giving us a new animal crossing soon after the new system. We can hope huh. So I’m not doing a theme and just doing what I want.
