Is level 275 and 300 that hard to hit? I was under the impression Maple has gotten really easy to level in. Am I wrong? It also looks super wild and crazy and full of damage numbers these days. Nothing like the past.

hit till lvl 200 is quite ez for p2w ppl (f2p also quite fast if you have more sources as possible (various of exp buffs)) but for lvl 275 to 300 still need damn long time to hit even for p2w ppl

Mmm… basically they inflated all the numbers, so it is indeed pretty tough. As an ancient gms player, 1-200 is pretty negligible these days. Maybe twice as difficult as getting to level 10 pre-zakum days. 200-250 feels about the same as getting from 10 to somewhere around 80 in prebb days, though that may be different now with exp reduction. 250-275 is pretty rough. Certainly not as bad as the original 200, and it seems only somewhat easier than 200 prebb. So the threshold to enter this area is pretty high. 275-290 is doable; 290-300 is unrealistic atm. I am a f2p player in normal servers, so reboot might be different (purportedly, significantly easier to level despite starting levels being rougher there). I don’t think level has as much clout as it did back then, but I’d wager somewhere around 285-290 is about as rough as the original 200.

@@AznMapleNoobz Do you play on MapleSEA or something or perhaps Taiwanese? I thought every MMO these days make grinding easier and easier. I guess it's a little heartwarming to know MapleStory remains ever a grindfest, not that I'm sure if it's a good or bad thing.
