The level 110-150 flames in reg are moreso for extracting for their essences which are used for crafting red/rainbow/black flames than actually flaming equips

Im way late too the party on this one, but one minute and somewhat "useless" use of the 10+1 sf event, is using it for Glona's Heart ring. As the ring requires coins to starforce its WAY more effecient to wait with starforcing this ring to 12* until there is set event active.

For those wondering flame scores here is simple version of it, and what i've got on my main and bossing mules with only red flames since red flames are just cheaper in legion shop. I always buy 20 karma red flames per week. what to aim for: Gollux- 12 or 24 or 32 main stat + all stat 2%~3% CRA/ Lv140 accessory - get around 40~60 main stat + all stat 5~6% (att or secondary stats can live without) aboslab/ Lv160 accessory - around 40~70 main stat + all stat 5~6% Arcane- 60~80 main stat + all stat 5~6% only consider tier 7 on mains, just don't do it on mules it's not worth it tier 7 flames I am not 100% sure, but i've seen some godlike flame lines as following Gollux- 32 or 40 main stat + all stat 4% cra - 80 main stat + all stat 7% abso- 80 main stat + all stat 7% arcanes- around 120~140 with all stat 6 or 7%

I’m a new player (played once for 10 mins 15 years ago) and your videos are the most comprehensive and explanatory videos for people who aren’t long term players. Would you be able to do one on progression for bosses? I see a lot of random spreadsheets out there, but a guide on what damage range and main stats you could be at in order to know you’ll help clear a boss and get loot at that level would be massive.

There's a reason a spreadsheet like that doesn't already exist, and it's because it can't exist. There is no single stat in maplestory that you can point to and say it truly defines your progression. You just need to work through the bosses one at a time and see what you're able to do. Practice mode is the best way to know how far away you are from clearing a boss.

These values change based on a number of factors, but in the description I've provided a link to strategywiki which goes more in-depth on that (item level, boss flame item or not, specific items like absolab, arcane, etc.)

I do keep selling my flames from bosses on Aurora the Interactive server I'm on seeing how every time I go to use them on equipment I get the "You cant use this one that item" message

It might be a level difference, or you're trying to use them on equips that can't be flamed. It still varies a lot, but the general idea is everything except medals, badges, emblems, secondaries except shields I think, hearts, androids, rings, and shoulders can't be flamed whatsoever
